Byrna – BM68923 – ProSight Universal – Black Red

The Byrna BM68923 ProSight Universal Red Dot Sight is a compact reflex optic designed to provide fast target acquisition, clear aiming references, and dependable illumination for compatible Byrna launchers. Featuring a 3 MOA red dot, motion-activated illumination, and adjustable brightness settings, this optic offers a streamlined aiming solution for users seeking improved sight visibility and precision. Its compact design helps maintain a balanced profile while providing a clear aiming point for range use and other appropriate applications. Compatibility is essential when selecting this optic. The Byrna BM68923 ProSight Universal is compatible only with Byrna launchers equipped with an optic-cut top cover and Byrna rifle launchers. It is not intended to fit every Byrna launcher. Before purchasing, verify that your specific launcher model supports the required mounting configuration to ensure proper fitment and installation. The ProSight features a 22 x 16 mm reflex optic window that provides a visible aiming reference without requiring users to align traditional front and rear sights in the same manner. Its 3 MOA red dot offers a defined aiming point designed to support precise sight placement while maintaining a useful field of view. Parallax-free technology is intended to minimize apparent reticle movement relative to the target as the viewing angle changes within the optic’s designed operating conditions. For changing lighting conditions, the sight incorporates 10 brightness levels, allowing users to adjust the red dot’s intensity to suit the surrounding environment. This adjustability helps maintain visibility without relying on a single illumination setting for every situation. The motion-activated illumination system is designed to help conserve battery power by activating the sight’s illumination in response to movement. This feature reduces the need for unnecessary continuous illumination and helps keep the optic ready for use when handled. Byrna lists battery life of up to 50,000 operating hours, although actual performance can vary depending on brightness settings, usage patterns, environmental conditions, and battery quality. The included CR2032 battery provides the power source needed for operation. The compact construction and included protective silicone cover also make the package practical for routine storage, handling, and transport. As with any optical accessory, keeping the lens clean and protecting the sight when it is not in use can help maintain clear visibility over time. The BM68923 package includes mounting hardware and tools intended to support installation on compatible configurations. A Picatinny rail adapter is provided for Byrna rifle models, expanding mounting options where the appropriate rail interface is required. The included 60 MOA (1°) shim, insulation shim, multiple screw sets, and T10 Torx and Allen tools support the specified mounting and adjustment arrangements. Always consult the manufacturer’s instructions to determine the correct hardware and installation procedure for your particular launcher. Combining adjustable illumination, a clearly defined red dot, motion-activated operation, and a comprehensive accessory package, the Byrna ProSight Universal is a purpose-built optic for compatible Byrna platforms. Its combination of practical features makes it a useful option for customers looking to equip a supported launcher with a dedicated reflex sight.
