Byrna – LK68300-2-ORN – LE Plus Universal Kit – Orange

The Byrna LE Plus Universal Kit (SKU: LK68300-2-ORN) is a .68-caliber CO₂-powered launcher package designed for users seeking a less-lethal personal protection option. Featuring an updated trigger interface and redesigned valve assembly, the Byrna LE delivers projectile velocities of up to 330 feet per second under specified test conditions. Its improved trigger mechanism is designed to provide a smoother, lighter pull, contributing to a more controlled and comfortable shooting experience. Built around a midsized launcher platform, the Byrna LE combines ergonomic handling, practical sighting features, and an accessible CO₂ power system. The textured honeycomb over-molded grip helps promote a secure hold, while the straight trigger offers a stated pull weight of approximately 4–6 pounds. An ambidextrous safety selector accommodates both left-handed and right-handed users, providing convenient access to the safe and fire positions. The launcher features upgraded high-contrast white-dot sights intended to support quick sight alignment. Its updated top slide is designed to accommodate the Byrna Red Dot Pro Sight, providing an additional sighting option for compatible configurations. A Picatinny accessory rail also offers a mounting platform for compatible accessories. One of the defining features of the Byrna LE is its patented Pull-Pierce CO₂ technology. Rather than piercing the CO₂ cartridge immediately upon installation, the system keeps the cartridge unpunctured until the first trigger pull. This action punctures the cartridge while launching the first projectile, helping preserve the cartridge seal before initial use. The launcher uses standard 12-gram CO₂ cylinders and feeds .68-caliber projectiles through removable five-round magazines. With a manufacturer-stated maximum projectile velocity of 330 feet per second and an advertised effective range of up to 60 feet, the Byrna LE is designed to provide practical performance for its intended applications. Actual velocity, range, and shot count can vary with temperature, projectile type, cartridge condition, and other operating factors. The stated velocity and energy-density figures are based on the manufacturer’s specified testing conditions and should not be interpreted as guaranteed results for every shot. The Byrna LE Plus Universal Kit provides a useful starting package by including the launcher, magazines, CO₂ cylinders, kinetic projectiles, and a carrying case. With its ergonomic controls, accessory compatibility, and distinctive CO₂ activation system, this kit brings the principal components together in one convenient package. Users should review local laws, follow the manufacturer’s instructions, and handle the launcher responsibly, recognizing that less-lethal launchers can still cause serious injury.
