Silverline USA – DM001 – Damascus Dagger – Fixed Blade Knife – 1095 HC Damascus Dagger – Micarta – Brown

The Silverline USA DM001 Damascus Dagger combines traditional blade craftsmanship with a distinctive layered-steel appearance and a practical, balanced design. Featuring a 4.5-inch Damascus steel blade and a matching 4.5-inch handle, this dagger measures 9 inches overall. Its classic proportions create a visually striking profile, making it an appealing addition to a knife collection, a display of traditional edged tools, or a collection focused on Damascus steel craftsmanship. The blade is constructed from a combination of 1095 carbon steel and 15N20 steel, two materials commonly used together in the production of pattern-welded Damascus steel. When forged and finished appropriately, these steels create contrasting layers that produce the distinctive patterns associated with Damascus blades. The resulting appearance gives the DM001 a unique visual character, with the layered construction serving as a defining feature of its overall design. Individual Damascus patterns may vary, contributing to the distinctive character of each finished blade. The 4.5-inch blade provides the dagger with its traditional proportions, while the 4.5-inch Micarta handle offers a complementary grip surface and a contrasting material finish. Micarta is a composite material valued in knife construction for its durability and practical handling characteristics. Its use gives the DM001 a contemporary touch while maintaining the classic aesthetic of a traditional dagger. The handle’s length also contributes to the knife’s balanced visual proportions, creating a cohesive appearance from the blade tip to the end of the grip. With an overall length of 9 inches, the Silverline USA DM001 is compact enough to fit comfortably within many knife displays and collections without sacrificing the traditional dagger silhouette. Its combination of layered steel, a Micarta handle, and classic styling makes it a noteworthy option for enthusiasts who appreciate distinctive materials and traditional knife designs. The DM001 also comes with a premium-quality genuine leather sheath. This included accessory complements the dagger’s traditional appearance and provides a dedicated storage and carrying solution. Leather develops its own character through use and care, making it a natural companion to the distinctive patterns of a Damascus blade. For long-term preservation, the blade should be cleaned and thoroughly dried after handling, with a light protective coating of suitable oil applied as needed. Because the blade incorporates carbon steel, regular maintenance is particularly important to help prevent corrosion.
