Silverline USA – DM060 – Hunter 13″ – Fixed Blade Knife – 1095 HC Damascus Recurve – Wood – Red

The Silverline USA DM 060 Hunter is a large fixed blade with a sweeping recurve profile, patterned 1095 high-carbon Damascus steel, and a bold red wooden handle. This model stands out immediately for its dramatic blade length and distinctive handle color. It has the presence of a traditional oversized hunting-style knife, but the combination of layered steel and rich red wood gives it an unmistakably collectible appearance for anyone who enjoys large fixed blades with strong visual personality.

The 8.50-inch recurve blade is the defining feature of this Hunter. Its curved cutting edge creates a different silhouette from a straightforward drop point or clip point, with a pronounced sweep that makes the blade look dynamic even when it is at rest. The Damascus pattern complements that shape beautifully, bringing dark and light movement across the steel. This is a substantial blade with plenty of length, making deliberate, controlled handling especially important. The 1095 high-carbon construction also calls for regular corrosion prevention.

The five-inch red wooden handle provides a warm, eye-catching contrast to the patterned blade. Its color keeps the knife from looking like an ordinary large hunting pattern and gives collectors something visually memorable to display. Wood also adds traditional character that pairs naturally with Damascus, helping balance the dramatic blade geometry. The supplied overall length is 12.50 inches, placing the DM 060 firmly in the category of large fixed blades rather than everyday compact carry knives.

Collectors who enjoy distinctive oversized hunters, sweeping blade profiles, or patterned steel will appreciate the DM 060 for its unusual combination of shape and color. The knife has a strong shelf presence and a memorable look, while the recurve profile gives it a specialized cutting character. To preserve the high-carbon Damascus, promptly remove fingerprints and moisture after handling, dry the blade thoroughly, and use a light protective oil before long-term storage. Keep the long edge safely protected when the knife is not in use. This combination of blade length, sweeping steel, and vivid handle color is especially effective in a display, where the unusual silhouette and contrasting materials can be appreciated together.
