Silverline USA – SS018 – Skinner 9″ – Fixed Blade Knife – Stainless Satin Spear Point – Chipped Pakkawood – Green|Tan

The Silverline USA SS005 Skinner 9″ is a practical fixed-blade knife designed for users who appreciate a traditional skinner profile, dependable construction, and comfortable handling. With a total length of 9 inches, this knife offers a balanced format that combines a substantial cutting blade with a full-length handle for a secure, controlled grip. Its straightforward design makes it a suitable addition to a knife collection or an option for outdoor enthusiasts seeking a dedicated skinning-style knife. The SS005 features a 4.5-inch stainless steel blade that provides a useful balance between cutting length and maneuverability. Stainless steel is valued for its resistance to corrosion and ease of maintenance, making it a practical material for knives that may encounter moisture during outdoor use. As with any stainless steel blade, regular cleaning and thorough drying after use help maintain its condition and appearance over time. The skinner-style blade profile is traditionally associated with field dressing and hide preparation, where controlled cutting and practical blade geometry are important. Its 4.5-inch length offers a manageable working area for tasks that benefit from precision rather than an excessively long cutting edge. The blade’s overall proportions complement the knife’s compact 9-inch design, making it convenient to carry in its accompanying sheath when properly secured. The handle measures 4.5 inches and is constructed from Micarta, a material appreciated in knife handles for its durability, structural stability, and practical grip characteristics. Micarta provides a distinctive appearance while offering a solid handle platform for everyday handling. Its substantial length allows the user to establish a comfortable grip, supporting better control during appropriate cutting tasks. The handle and blade measurements also create a straightforward, evenly proportioned design that suits the knife’s traditional fixed-blade configuration. For storage and transport, the Silverline USA SS005 comes with a premium-quality genuine leather sheath. Leather sheaths offer a classic appearance that pairs naturally with traditional fixed-blade knives. The included sheath provides a dedicated carrying and storage solution, helping protect the blade when the knife is not in use. Properly storing the knife in a clean, dry condition will help preserve both the blade and the leather accessories. Whether you are expanding a knife collection or looking for a traditional skinner-style fixed blade for appropriate outdoor applications, the Silverline USA SS005 combines stainless steel construction, a Micarta handle, and a genuine leather sheath in one practical package. Its balanced dimensions and uncomplicated design emphasize utility, comfortable handling, and classic knife styling.
