Silverline USA – SS024 – Skinner – Fixed Blade Knife – Stainless Satin Clip Point – Resin – Brown

The Silverline USA SS018 Skinner 9″ is a fixed-blade knife designed with a practical profile, a distinctive wood handle, and a classic outdoor-inspired appearance. Featuring a 4.5-inch stainless steel blade and a matching 4.5-inch handle, this model measures 9 inches overall. Its balanced proportions and traditional styling make it an appealing option for knife enthusiasts, collectors, and individuals who appreciate functional fixed-blade designs. The SS018 features a stainless steel blade that provides a durable, corrosion-resistant option for everyday knife maintenance and general outdoor use. Stainless steel is valued for its ability to resist rust and staining when properly cared for, making it a popular material for knives intended for practical applications. Regular cleaning, thorough drying after exposure to moisture, and appropriate storage can help preserve the blade’s condition and appearance over time. One of the defining characteristics of this Silverline USA skinner is its chipped Pakka wood handle. The textured, chipped finish gives the handle a distinctive appearance while adding visual character to the knife’s traditional design. Pakka wood is commonly used in knife handles because it combines the natural look of wood with a durable, engineered construction. The handle’s 4.5-inch length provides a substantial grip area, complementing the blade’s dimensions and contributing to the knife’s overall proportions. With its 4.5-inch blade, the SS018 carries the compact proportions associated with traditional skinner-style knives. This blade length is well suited to users who prefer a fixed-blade knife with a manageable profile for appropriate field tasks and outdoor activities. As with any knife, careful handling and proper cutting techniques are essential for safe use. Specific details such as the blade grind, steel grade, and locking or tang construction have not been independently verified for this model and should not be assumed. The included genuine leather sheath adds practical value to the package. Leather sheaths offer a traditional way to protect a knife’s blade during storage and carry, while complementing the appearance of a wood-handled fixed blade. The sheath also helps keep the knife stored separately from other gear when not in use. For best results, keep both the blade and sheath clean and dry, and avoid storing the knife for extended periods while moisture is present. Whether you are expanding a knife collection or looking for a traditional fixed-blade design with a distinctive handle, the Silverline USA SS018 Skinner combines straightforward dimensions, stainless steel construction, chipped Pakka wood styling, and a genuine leather sheath in one package.
