VOC – PF88PP – Gravity – Gravity Knife – 5Cr15MoV Satin Clip Point – Aluminum – Purple

The VOC PF88PP Gravity is a compact folding knife that combines a practical 3-inch clip point blade with a distinctive gravity-slide locking mechanism and a lightweight aluminum handle. Designed around a straightforward, functional profile, the PF88PP offers a convenient 7-inch overall length when deployed while measuring only 4 inches when closed, making it a compact option for everyday carry and general utility applications. At the heart of the PF88PP is its 3-inch blade, crafted from 5CR15 stainless steel. This commonly used stainless-steel blade material offers a practical balance of edge performance, corrosion resistance, and ease of maintenance. The blade features a satin finish, giving it a clean, understated appearance while complementing the knife’s purple handle. Its clip point blade style creates a distinctive profile with a lowered point and a pronounced primary edge, providing a versatile shape for a variety of everyday cutting tasks. One of the defining characteristics of the PF88PP is its gravity-slide locking mechanism. Rather than relying on a conventional liner lock, frame lock, or lockback system, the knife incorporates a gravity-operated sliding mechanism as part of its design. This contributes to the knife’s unique character and gives the PF88PP an unmistakably different operating system compared with more traditional folding knives. The handle is constructed from aluminum and finished in an eye-catching purple color. Aluminum is well suited to compact folding knives because it provides a durable handle material without adding unnecessary bulk. The handle’s 4-inch closed length also allows the PF88PP to maintain a relatively compact footprint when stored or carried. With its combination of compact dimensions, stainless-steel blade, aluminum construction, and gravity-slide mechanism, the VOC PF88PP Gravity presents a distinctive alternative for collectors and knife enthusiasts looking for something outside the conventional folding-knife format. Its clip point blade and manageable size make it particularly well suited to general-purpose cutting and utility use, while the purple aluminum handle adds a noticeable visual accent to the overall design.
