The Kershaw 1140GRNX Ration Eating Multi Tool is a practical, lightweight eating utensil designed for outdoor enthusiasts, travelers, campers, students, and anyone who appreciates having reliable gear close at hand. Combining the essential functions of a spoon and fork with additional everyday utility, this compact multitool provides a convenient alternative to disposable plastic cutlery. Its distinctive green finish, durable stainless steel construction, and integrated carry features make it a useful addition to a backpack, lunch bag, camping kit, or everyday carry collection. Built for convenience and repeated use, the Ration features a generously sized spoon and functional fork tines to handle a variety of everyday meals. Whether you’re enjoying soup at a campsite, eating lunch during a busy workday, or taking a break on a hiking trail, its combination eating surfaces offers a versatile solution without requiring separate utensils. The thoughtfully designed profile prioritizes portability while retaining the practical features needed for comfortable, everyday dining. The Ration 1140GRNX is constructed from 3Cr13 stainless steel, a material commonly used in practical tools for its balance of durability, corrosion resistance, and ease of maintenance. Its bead-blasted finish gives the metal a subdued, non-reflective appearance that complements the tool’s utilitarian design. The green finish adds a distinctive touch, making the utensil easier to recognize among other outdoor equipment and personal accessories. Beyond its primary eating functions, the Ration includes a built-in bottle opener for added convenience when opening compatible beverage bottles. An integrated carabiner-style gate provides a straightforward way to attach the tool to suitable gear loops, bags, and other convenient carry points. This attachment feature helps keep the utensil accessible when needed and reduces the likelihood of misplacing it among packed equipment. At approximately 4.6 inches long and weighing around 1.1 ounces, the Kershaw Ration is compact enough for regular carry without adding significant bulk or weight. Its practical design makes it suitable for camping trips, road travel, picnics, office lunches, and emergency meal kits. Rather than relying on disposable utensils, users can keep this reusable tool ready for everyday meals and outdoor excursions alike. The food-safe green coating adds both visual appeal and practical protection. Product listings describe the colored coating as scratch-resistant and easy to clean, making the utensil suitable for regular use in a variety of settings. For best long-term performance, clean the Ration after each meal and dry it before storing it with your gear. Its simple, one-piece construction also makes it easy to pack and maintain, whether you’re preparing for a weekend adventure or simply heading out for the day.
