Silverline USA – SS022 – DP Skinner 6.5″ – Fixed Blade Knife – Stainless Satin Drop Point – Wood – White

The Silverline USA SS 022 DP Skinner is a compact fixed blade with a practical drop point shape and a bright white wooden handle that gives it a clean, traditional look. Designed around a small, controllable blade rather than oversized proportions, this knife will appeal to customers who like compact field-style knives and the feel of a straightforward fixed blade. The satin stainless steel finish keeps the presentation classic, while the light handle color distinguishes it from more common dark-wood hunting patterns.

The 3.00-inch drop point blade provides a useful blend of slicing belly and controlled tip placement. Compared with a dagger or more exaggerated clip point, the drop point design offers a versatile profile for general light utility work, careful trimming, and the controlled cutting associated with a small skinner-style knife. The satin finish emphasizes the shape without adding visual clutter, and stainless steel is a sensible material for a knife that may be brought out for occasional outdoor tasks and then stored again.

The white wood handle is the defining visual feature of this variation. Its lighter appearance provides a strong contrast to the satin blade and helps the knife feel more traditional than tactical. The handle measures 3.75 inches, giving the user a compact grip suited to detailed cutting and deliberate handling. At 6.75 inches overall, the SS 022 is easy to appreciate as a small fixed blade without the added bulk of a larger hunting knife.

The SS 022 works especially well for people who want a small drop point skinner with a distinctive handle treatment. It has the kind of approachable dimensions that fit a collector’s cabinet, gift selection, or compact utility kit. Treat it as a light-duty fixed blade rather than a heavy chopping tool, and use the geometry for the controlled cuts it does best. After handling, clean and dry the blade and wipe down the wood to preserve the clean white presentation. The straightforward shape and lighter handle make this an appealing alternative to heavier outdoor-oriented fixed blades.
