Spartan Blades – SFBL15BKBK – Eleos – Folding Knife – 154CM Coated Drop Point – GFN – Black

The Spartan Blades SFBL15BKBK ELEOS Cross Bar Lock is a purpose-built folding knife that combines a full-size cutting profile with a lightweight, streamlined construction. Designed by Curtis Iovito, the ELEOS brings together a proven 154CM stainless steel blade, a durable glass-filled nylon handle, an ambidextrous Cross Bar Lock, and a smooth IKBS bearing pivot. The result is a versatile folder designed to deliver reliable cutting performance and comfortable everyday handling while maintaining a discreet, all-black appearance. At the heart of the SFBL15BKBK is a 3 9/16-inch drop-point blade made from 154CM stainless steel. Known for its balanced combination of edge retention, toughness, corrosion resistance, and ease of maintenance, 154CM is a practical choice for a hardworking everyday-carry knife. The blade is heat treated to 57–59 HRC and features a full-flat grind that extends across the blade for efficient slicing performance. With a substantial .142-inch blade thickness, the ELEOS provides a reassuring level of strength without making the knife unnecessarily bulky. The black blade finish complements the black glass-filled nylon handle for a low-profile, understated aesthetic. Beyond its appearance, the GFN handle helps keep the overall knife lightweight while providing strength and impact resistance. Its ergonomic shaping is intended to provide a comfortable, secure grip during routine cutting tasks, making the ELEOS well suited to users who want a capable folder that remains easy to carry throughout the day. One of the defining features of the SFBL15BKBK is its ambidextrous Cross Bar Lock. The mechanism allows the knife to be operated comfortably from either side, making it an appealing choice for both right- and left-handed users. The IKBS bearing system at the pivot further enhances the opening action, helping the blade move smoothly and efficiently when deployed. Together, these mechanisms give the ELEOS a modern operating experience without sacrificing the straightforward functionality expected from a dependable folding knife. With an overall length of 8.5 inches, the ELEOS offers substantial cutting capability while remaining practical for everyday carry. The included deep-carry pocket clip helps position the knife securely and discreetly in a pocket, reducing unnecessary profile during transport. The combination of a lightweight handle, functional blade geometry, smooth pivot, and ambidextrous lock creates a well-rounded package for everyday cutting, utility tasks, outdoor use, and general carry. The SFBL15BKBK’s all-black configuration gives it a particularly clean and professional appearance. The black-finished blade and matching black GFN handle create a cohesive presentation that will appeal to collectors and users who prefer understated gear. At the same time, its practical dimensions and performance-oriented construction keep the ELEOS focused on function rather than ornamentation.
