Spartan Blades – SFBL15BKGR – Eleos – Folding Knife – 154CM Coated Drop Point – GFN – OD Green

The Spartan Blades SFBL15BKGR ELEOS Cross Bar Lock is a purpose-driven folding knife that combines a rugged field aesthetic with lightweight construction and smooth, ambidextrous operation. Designed by Curtis Iovito, the ELEOS is built around a full-size 3 9/16-inch drop-point blade made from 154CM stainless steel, paired with an OD Green glass-filled nylon handle. The combination creates a capable everyday folding knife that is easy to carry without sacrificing the strength and functionality expected from a Spartan Blades design. The black-finished blade gives the SFBL15BKGR a subdued, tactical-inspired appearance while providing a practical working profile. Its drop-point configuration offers a strong point and useful belly, making it well suited to a wide variety of everyday cutting chores. The blade features a full-flat grind for efficient slicing performance, while the substantial .142-inch blade thickness provides a solid feel and added structural strength. Heat treated to 57–59 HRC, the 154CM stainless steel blade offers a well-balanced combination of edge retention, toughness, corrosion resistance, and ease of maintenance. The ELEOS is equally focused on efficient handling. Its OD Green glass-filled nylon handle provides a durable platform while keeping overall weight remarkably low. Glass-filled nylon is valued for its strength-to-weight ratio, making it an excellent choice for a knife intended for regular carry and practical use. The contoured handle profile helps provide a secure and comfortable grip, while the OD Green color reinforces the knife’s outdoors-oriented character. Operation is another major strength of the SFBL15BKGR. An IKBS bearing pivot system supports smooth blade movement, helping the blade open and close with a fluid feel. The ambidextrous Cross Bar Lock is designed for intuitive one-handed operation and accommodates both right- and left-handed users. Its placement also allows the knife to be manipulated without relying on a traditional liner or frame lock configuration. For everyday carry, the ELEOS incorporates a deep-carry pocket clip that helps keep the knife positioned discreetly and securely in a pocket. With an overall length of 8.5 inches when open, the SFBL15BKGR offers the proportions of a full-size folding knife while maintaining a lightweight construction that makes it practical for daily carry. The black 154CM blade and OD Green handle give the SFBL15BKGR a distinctive, low-profile appearance that suits the ELEOS’s field-inspired design. Whether carried as an everyday utility knife, added to an outdoor gear setup, or selected as part of a Spartan Blades collection, the ELEOS delivers a thoughtful combination of materials, ergonomics, locking security, and practical blade geometry.
