Spartan Blades – SFBL15SWBL – Eleos – Folding Knife – 154CM Stonewash Drop Point – GFN – Blue

The Spartan Blades SFBL15SWBL ELEOS Cross Bar Lock is a modern everyday carry folder designed for users who want capable cutting performance, smooth operation, and practical carry in a lightweight package. Designed by Curtis Iovito, the ELEOS combines a full-size 3 9/16-inch drop-point blade with a distinctive blue glass-filled nylon handle, creating an EDC knife that balances durability, ergonomics, and visual appeal. The stonewashed blade finish gives the knife a subdued, utilitarian appearance while helping conceal the minor marks that naturally occur through regular use. At the heart of the SFBL15SWBL is a 154CM stainless steel blade heat treated to approximately 57–59 HRC. 154CM is a proven American stainless steel valued for its combination of edge retention, toughness, corrosion resistance, and ease of maintenance. The drop-point profile provides a useful balance between a strong point and a substantial cutting edge, making the ELEOS well suited to everyday cutting chores. Its full-flat grind emphasizes slicing performance, while the .142-inch blade stock provides a substantial platform for routine EDC tasks. The stonewashed finish complements the blade’s practical character. Rather than relying on a highly polished appearance, the finish gives the SFBL15SWBL a textured, understated look that works naturally with the knife’s purpose-driven design. The 3 9/16-inch blade is paired with an overall length of 8.5 inches, providing useful reach while remaining compact enough for everyday pocket carry. The blue glass-filled nylon handle is an important part of the ELEOS’s lightweight design. Glass-filled nylon, commonly abbreviated GFN, provides a strong and impact-resistant handle material without the additional weight associated with many metal-handled folders. The ergonomic shape is intended to provide a comfortable, confident grip during everyday cutting, while the blue coloration gives this particular SFBL15SWBL configuration a distinctive appearance and makes it easy to identify among other equipment. Deployment and lock operation are designed with convenience in mind. The ELEOS incorporates an IKBS bearing pivot system for smooth blade movement, while its ambidextrous Cross Bar Lock allows the knife to be operated comfortably by either right- or left-handed users. The crossbar-style mechanism also keeps the fingers clear of the blade path during normal closing, contributing to a straightforward one-handed operating experience. For pocket carry, the SFBL15SWBL is equipped with a deep-carry pocket clip. The clip positions the closed knife securely and helps keep its profile relatively discreet when carried. Combined with the lightweight GFN handle, the deep-carry configuration makes the ELEOS particularly well suited to users who prefer a capable folding knife that does not feel unnecessarily bulky in the pocket.
