Vosteed – VOSA3724 – Corgi V – Folding Knife – 14C28N Copper Dune Drop Point – Aluminum – Green

The Vosteed Corgi V A3724 is a compact everyday carry folding knife that combines distinctive styling, refined ergonomics, and versatile manual opening options in a lightweight, pocket-friendly design. Building on the popular Corgi platform, this updated model delivers a fresh visual identity with a green aluminum handle, a striking Copper Dune blade finish, and Vosteed’s innovative Vanchor Lock® mechanism. Designed by Yue, the Corgi V balances practical cutting performance with smooth, engaging operation, making it an appealing choice for everyday carry enthusiasts, collectors, and anyone who appreciates thoughtful knife engineering. Measuring 5.85 inches overall when open, the Corgi V maintains a compact footprint that fits comfortably into a daily routine. Its 2.36-inch drop-point blade offers a versatile cutting profile suitable for common everyday tasks, including opening packages, cutting cordage, and handling general utility work. The blade’s clean lines and flat grind provide a practical combination of cutting efficiency and controlled performance, while the distinctive Copper Dune finish creates an attractive contrast against the green handle. The Corgi V A3724 features a blade crafted from Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel, a material valued for its balanced combination of corrosion resistance, edge retention, and ease of sharpening. Heat-treated to a hardness of HRC 60 ±1, the blade is engineered to deliver dependable everyday cutting performance while remaining practical to maintain. Its 3.00 mm blade thickness contributes to a solid, reassuring feel, and the 0.90-inch blade width supports the useful proportions of the drop-point design. The flat grind provides a versatile cutting geometry suited to a variety of routine applications. Combined with the compact 60 mm blade length, this configuration makes the Corgi V an efficient utility knife without the bulk of a full-size folder. The Copper Dune blade finish adds a distinctive decorative element, giving this model a premium appearance that stands apart from more conventional everyday carry knives. The green aluminum handle gives the A3724 a modern appearance while keeping overall weight to just 2.86 ounces. Measuring 3.48 inches long, 0.99 inches wide, and 0.49 inches thick, the handle is proportioned for compact carry and comfortable handling. Its CNC-machined Wave Flow texture introduces flowing, organic lines inspired by shifting tides, adding visual character and helping provide a more secure grip during use. The handle’s sculpted profile complements the knife’s compact blade and contributes to its distinctive, approachable aesthetic. Vosteed’s attention to proportions helps the Corgi V remain easy to carry without sacrificing the practical feel expected from a quality folding knife. One of the defining features of the Vosteed Corgi V is its combination of a front flipper and a wheeler-style opening mechanism. These options give users different ways to deploy the blade manually, adding versatility and tactile appeal to the opening experience. Deep jimping in the operating areas improves purchase and control, helping make the knife’s interaction points more accessible. The Vanchor Lock® serves as the knife’s central locking mechanism. Designed to provide secure blade retention, it incorporates a recessed button intended to help reduce unintended activation. Its internal mechanical design and bearing-supported operation are intended to deliver consistent functionality during repeated use. As with any folding knife, the blade should be fully locked before cutting, and the lock should be kept clean and inspected periodically. A caged ceramic ball-bearing pivot assembly supports smooth blade movement and contributes to the Corgi V’s responsive action. The enlarged stainless steel button, finished in Copper Dune to complement the blade, provides a prominent control surface and a coordinated design detail. Together, these elements give the knife a balance of practical usability and satisfying manual operation. The Corgi V A3724 is equipped with a non-reversible stainless steel pocket clip configured for tip-up carry. Its low-profile design helps keep the knife conveniently positioned in a pocket while maintaining a streamlined appearance. The clip’s finish complements the knife’s refined styling, while the compact closed profile helps the knife remain unobtrusive during daily activities. With an overall length of 5.85 inches, a lightweight 2.86-ounce construction, and a versatile 2.36-inch blade, this folder is designed for users who prefer an everyday carry knife that does not occupy unnecessary space. Its combination of stainless steel, aluminum construction, and a practical locking system makes it suitable for regular utility use when handled responsibly and maintained appropriately.
