Vosteed – VOSA4112 – Vombat – Folding Knife – 14C28N Satin Clip Point – G10 – Blue

The Vosteed Vombat VOSA4112 is a compact, versatile everyday carry folding knife designed for users who appreciate practical cutting performance, smooth operation, and customizable construction. Featuring a clip point blade, blue G10 handle scales, and dependable 14C28N stainless steel, this Vombat configuration combines a distinctive appearance with useful functionality in a lightweight, pocket-friendly design. With an overall length of 6.72 inches and a blade measuring just 2.92 inches, it offers a practical balance of cutting capability and compact portability for everyday tasks. The VOSA4112 features a 2.92-inch clip point blade with a clean satin finish and flat grind. The clip point profile incorporates a tapered tip that supports controlled cutting and detail-oriented work, making it useful for opening packages, trimming materials, preparing everyday items, and performing general utility tasks. Its 3.00 mm blade thickness provides a solid foundation for routine cutting while maintaining a streamlined profile suitable for everyday carry. The blade is constructed from 14C28N stainless steel, a popular choice for practical folding knives because of its balance of corrosion resistance, edge stability, and ease of sharpening. This steel is particularly appealing to users who want reliable everyday performance without the maintenance demands or cost associated with some premium blade steels. With a stated hardness of HRC 59±1, the blade is designed to provide a useful combination of edge retention, durability, and straightforward resharpening. The satin finish complements the blade’s clean lines while giving the knife a refined, understated appearance. The Vosteed Vombat uses a manual thumb stud for convenient one-handed blade deployment. Its caged ceramic ball-bearing pivot assembly promotes smooth, consistent blade movement, giving the knife a refined operating feel. The crossbar lock provides a secure mechanical locking system when the blade is open and allows the user to release the lock for controlled closing. Together, these features make the Vombat a practical choice for users who value efficient operation and a modern locking mechanism. The blue G10 handle scales provide a striking color accent and a durable grip surface. G10 is a fiberglass-based laminate commonly used in knife handles because of its strength, dimensional stability, and resistance to everyday environmental exposure. The handle measures 3.81 inches long, 1.01 inches wide, and 0.49 inches thick, creating a compact profile that is comfortable to carry while offering useful space for a secure grip. Vosteed’s sandwich-style construction and T8 body screws make routine adjustment and disassembly more straightforward for users familiar with knife maintenance. The quick-swap scale system also supports personalization, allowing compatible handle scales to change the knife’s appearance to suit individual preferences. This modular approach gives the Vombat added appeal to enthusiasts who enjoy customizing their everyday carry equipment. Weighing only 2.70 ounces, the VOSA4112 is easy to incorporate into a daily pocket carry setup without adding substantial weight. Its reversible stainless steel pocket clip supports tip-up carry and accommodates different pocket-carry preferences. An aluminum clip plate and aluminum thumb stud complement the overall construction, adding functional hardware details to the blue G10 handle. Designed by Yue Dong, the Vosteed Vombat combines compact dimensions, practical blade geometry, smooth deployment, and adaptable construction in one thoughtfully configured folding knife. Whether you are looking for a dependable utility folder, a lightweight everyday companion, or a customizable addition to a knife collection, the VOSA4112 offers a compelling combination of performance, portability, and distinctive styling.
